Donna Floyd works for CCC—a Scottsdale, Arizona, based IT support firm. They were hired by Smith Accounting and Business Solutions, a Cougar Mountain Software customer located in Phoenix, Arizona. Smith Accounting acquired a SinglePoint server and Cougar Mountain-Software in December 2006, but because of outside factors, the unit remained uninstalled until December 2007.
While setting up the SinglePoint server, user accounts, and documenting the procedures for access, Donna also updated their software to the most current version at the time, CMS Professional V. 12.1. Unfortunately she encountered a few roadblocks and contacted Cougar Mountain’s technical support department for assistance.
“As a small business support team, we work with a variety of software and hardware vendors and combinations. Thus, we often speak with technical and product support teams, but never have we experienced the commitment to quality, expertise and experience, and graciousness that your team presented,” she said.
To resolve Donna’s issues, two Cougar Mountain Support Specialists listened closely as she described the problem and progressively took the required steps to analyze and correct the situation—which in this case included a conference call with Applianz (producers of the SinglePoint system) for additional guidance. When the setback was resolved, Donna said she hung up the phone both amazed and impressed by what she called “award-winning service” during one of the busiest times of the year for accounting – tax season.
“To top it all off, a manager contacted me the next day to verify that our issues had been solved,” Donna said. “Words do not do justice to the total satisfaction we experienced each step of the way in this process.
