With the help of our experts, your transition to a new Cougar Mountain setup will be swift and easy.

As a registered Cougar Mountain product owner, you can receive skilled setup assistance—a 1-hour installation package that covers your server and two PC workstations, giving you the assurance that your software performs properly from the start.

• Remote installation and CMS data conversion.
• Verifying the operating system on the server and the 2 PC workstations.
• Verification of basic configurations on the server and 2 PC workstations – file handles, short date style, memory, and operating system.
• Assist with checking, downloading and installing critical Microsoft Windows updates.
• Assist with installing the CMS accounting software and add-on modules.
• Assist with installing required CMS service packs and smart patches.
• Create a new shortcut on your Desktop for CMS access.
• Create a copy of your data and report files.
• Create a “Save” folder for your custom report forms.
• Copy customized Report Writer reports/forms into the newly installed CMS software version update.
• For CMS software upgrades, initiate data conversion (2 company maximum).
• Verify that anti-virus software is not scanning the new CMS folder.
• For CMS software upgrades, assist with re-indexing data files prior to initiating the data update process.

This form will guide you through a list of system requirements, computer & server preparation, upgrade installation and final installation process preparation for you to perform prior to your installation appointment. We strongly encourage you to review and perform the Checklist so that you can maximize and devote your 1-hour installation solely to that purpose.

If you don't have IT computer hardware people on staff, don't worry -- Cougar Mountain Software can get your accounting hardware set up and configured in no time. We can set up servers and workstations, and run the cable between the systems.

On-site POS Equipment Installation
Cougar Mountain Software can help you with installation at your retail site, setting up cash registers, servers, peripherals such as card readers, scanners and printers, and run cable between the systems.
