Two Cougar Mountain Directors Assume New Duties
March 17, 2005 BOISE, IDAHO – Cougar Mountain Software today announced the promotions of Renee Galligher and Cary Welsh. Each of the current directors is assuming a larger role in getting Cougar Mountain software products to market.
Galligher is now Director of Program Management for the Boise based publisher of accounting software for small to medium-sized businesses. Welsh is the Director of Product Management.
Galligher, who has been with Cougar Mountain since 1995, will continue to oversee Software Quality but take on responsibility for planning the product life cycle from inception to delivery. She will perform critical planning and coordination roles to assure the timely delivery of products and services. Galligher established the software quality assurance program for Cougar Mountain software and is responsible for software, hardware and operating systems testing and the beta test program.
Welsh joined Cougar Mountain in 1994, progressing from support technician to Director of the training and design teams. In his new position as Director of Product Management, he will have responsibility for determining appropriate products and markets for Cougar Mountain software and services and for third party products. He will also continue to lead the Cougar Mountain team responsible for customer and reseller training and for the company’s training products.
