Newly released CMS Professional 2009 is packed full of great new features based on user suggestions. The focal point of the latest features allows for more control and management from the user and tighter security for all our CMS Professional Accounting, FUND and Point of Sale packages. There’s something for everyone:
Every user:
- Now receives a FREE and limited version - PDFBlaster Lite that allows for any document, i.e. statements, invoices, and purchase orders to be turned into a PDF and emailed to the appropriate vendor and customer.
- Go paperless; attach any document to your master records for quick reference and filing.
Some great features our POS users will find:
- Better Inventory control and ease of tracking because now you can assign lot numbers to group stock items.
- For those of you that use stock item aliases, now you’ll be able to copy those aliases along with their multi-pack codes (Specialty Shop users) from one company to another.
For all our users that accept credit cards:
- This will further help you with credit card security compliance - now users can view credit card activity and authorization attempts.
- And for those of you that process corporate credit cards, you can now process with the assurance you will receive the best rate.
Our CMS Professional Payroll users will appreciate some of these features:
- Set up employee garnishments and automatically calculate their pay within the legal guidelines and laws.
- Print multiple pay rates onto the paycheck stub.

Where Will the Road Shows Be Next?
Would you like to know how to use CMS software to its fullest potential? If the answer is yes, then come to one of our training sessions. Only four more left in 2008 and the classes are filling up quickly. Your choices are the Cougar Mountain Road Shows in Dallas, Long Beach and Orlando and a class specific to FUND accounting software held in Boise.
The Road Show seminars are done over 3-days that include General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Order Entry and Accounts Payable. And, if that is not enough, there is an optional fourth day covering Payroll, Bank Reconciliation and Purchase Orders.
For our FUND users there is an opportunity to get training and visit with us at our corporate office in Boise, Idaho. This training is specifically designed for our CMS Professional FUND users. This class offers hands-on training, as well as a chance to meet the Cougar Mountain team.
