2007 BP Conference

This past June the Annual Cougar Mountain Business Partner Conference was held in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. CMS Business Partners from around the country attended to not only hear what’s in the works for Cougar Mountain, but to receive training on the new features and tools being incorporated into our next releases.

Cougar Mountain’s annual conferences are unique events because they allow CMS developers and trainers to pass along valuable information to our business partners—who in turn are able to share it with our customers. It’s also a great time for both parties to network and continue building relationships. Topics for this year’s conference presentations included tutorials on the new elements of CMS Version 12 which will affect all three CMS Professional products (scheduled to be released in late July, 2007), and Denali 2.6 that will introduce Bank Reconciliation for Denali products (also scheduled for release in July, 2007).

Since Cougar Mountain’s Business partners are located all over the country, they are not only our link to new customers, they are a great source of information for current customers that might need technical support, on-site training, want to customize their system or reports, or have questions about other services and support options.

CMS Road Show Denver a Hit!

Another session, another town—the Cougar Mountain Road Show has just completed another successful stop in the Mile-high City! Over the course of four days attendees from all over the country learned how to better use their software as well as time-saving shortcuts to help them save time and money.

DonorPerfect

Cougar Mountain and DonorPerfect have collaborated on a great new feature. Now customers using both software programs don’t have to manually re-enter donation information from DonorPerfect into Cougar Mountain. DonorPerfect can now export this information into a file that can be imported into the General Ledger module of Cougar Mountain’s FUND software—saving users time and reducing the risk for errors.
