Announcing CMS Professional Version 12.1!
We are proud to announce CMS Professional Version 12.1 was released on Friday, December 14, 2007. Customers enrolled in our Software Assurance program can download the update at the Customer Service Site. This update included all relevant patches and corrections, as well as updates to the Payroll tax tables. Current customers that have custom reports or modifications should contact their local Business Partner or consultant before proceeding with the upgrade to ensure important data and settings are not lost.
In addition, CMS Professional V.12.1 and Denali V. 2.6 now have the ability to run on Windows® Vista™ Business with some caveats. To help clarify the nature of this relationship, and to help you weigh the pros-and-cons of using the Vista platform at this time—we have created a page outlining how to set up CMS Professional V.12.1 and Denali V.2.6 on a Vista system and what third-party products will function. The New Look of CMS
In case you haven’t visited the Cougar Mountain Software website recently—don’t be scared away the next time you do. In an effort to make our website more informative and easier to navigate we overhauled the whole thing.
Our goal is to make any and all Cougar Mountain product and service information easy to find and understand. In the coming months we’ll continue to try to improve on the new site’s appearance, navigation, and content—but in the meantime we welcome your comments. Road Show is Rolling!
The Cougar Mountain Road Show is moving into 2008 at a fevered pace. For the first time since we started the program, we’ve arranged three training seminars in different cities held in three consecutive months. The customer response to the Road Show program has been overwhelming. Not only are attendees receiving the training they need to use their software to its full potential—they’re networking with other users and sharing the tips/tricks that work for one another on a daily basis.
In January we’re kicking the year off with our first pit stop in Phoenix, Arizona. A little sunshine in this southwestern part of the country could be the cure for your winter blues. Contact your account executive today to book a seat—there’s not much time left and space is filling fast!
For February we’re taking the seminar to the Gateway to the West—St. Louis.
