iVault Security You Can Trust


Data Encryption
iVault encrypts data using 256 bit AES encryption technology.
How strong is 256 bit AES encryption? 256-AES encryption is approved by the United State’s National Security Agency (NSA) for encrypting the U.S. government’s documents classified "TOP SECRET.”

Secure Transmission
iVault communicates with the backup servers using SSL (Secure Socket Layers) technology. This is the same encryption used with online bank access. SSL keeps your financial data secure in the transmission from your network to the iVault Backup servers.

Storage Security & Redundancy
Your data is stored in two Tier-4 SAS70 Type 2 certified backup centers located hundreds of miles apart from one other. Each data center is monitored 24/7 and uses advanced security measures such as biometric controlled access, state-of-the-art backup generators, and redundant connections to the Internet.
