DENALI FUND Does it Again!

Cougar Mountain Software’s non-profit accounting solution, DENALI Fund, recently received high marks in CPA Practice Advisor’s review of Fund Accounting packages.  The DENALI Fund package received an overall rating of 4.75 out of 5 stars in the review that also included other software packages for not-for-profit organizations. The CPA Practice Advisor review reported, "it is a good fit for small to mid-sized nonprofit organizations that manage multiple funds and need solid, customizable software at an affordable price”.

The review included seven other non-profits / Fund accounting products and covered 5 key areas of interest: basic system function, core not-for-profit/fund accounting capabilities, management features, financial statements & reporting, integration/import/export, and help/support.  The review, which is available on the CPA Practice Advisor web site, noted the following highlights:

• Core Functionality: DENALI’s standard fund accounting product includes the GL and the Bank Reconciliation module, and there are numerous modules available that integrate with these.
• Modularity: Users are able to purchase only the modules they need and add the rest at a later date.
• Ease of Use: The batch entry capabilities of DENALI Fund can save a lot of time by allowing users to review transactions prior to posting, eliminating correcting entries.
• Donor Management: Donor Express, the integrated third party software makes fundraising easy, where all donations, pledges, and other gifts are recorded and tracked and thank you letters issued.

 
CPA Practice Advisors summarized the review with, "DENALI Fund is an excellent product for the small to mid-sized nonprofit”.  Jenkins adds, "Our DENALI Fund solution, support, and services help non-profits worry less about their accounting and concentrate more on achieving their mission”.
