Cougar Mountain Software, a leading developer of nonprofit, retail, and business accounting software since 1982, underwent a company rebranding effort with the launch of a new corporate website (www.cougarmtn.com), a new corporate logo, and a renewed dedication to "personal service by accounting and business experts.”

The company’s new tag line, "Accounting software for growing businesses” reflects Cougar Mountain Software’s dedication to providing customers with affordable expandable and intuitive accounting software for companies and organizations large and small.. Cougar Mountain Software has always employed two key practices; (1) employing in-house accounting and business professionals for our sales, support, training, and development teams and (2) listening to our clients to ensure our solutions meet the current demands of today’s organizations.

The rebranding effort began when new Chief Marketing Officer Mike Anderson came onboard in March of 2011. Mike stated of the rebranding effort, "Not often do you come across a company with three decades of experience and a product that consistently rates highest in its class from leading industry groups like CPA Practice Advisor and Nonprofit Times, and yet is relatively unknown. Businesses that have discovered Cougar Mountain Software exclaim a resounding, "I’ll never use anything else.” My goal is to bring this amazing company, quietly headquartered in the quaint city of Boise, Idaho to the forefront of business accounting software solutions. We have some big competition in terms of marketing resources, but like many quality products, large enterprises don’t necessarily equate to the best quality offerings.”

The new look and attitude of Cougar Mountain Software also extends to our products. In the past, we marketed two separate product lines, but we now shift focus to DENALI. DENALI is the accounting package of the future and uses SQL technology to support advanced functionality that will grow with your business. The newest release DENALI FUND+Accounting will release later in June.
