Cougar Mountain Software Releases CMS Professional

Boise, Idaho,September 1, 2009—Cougar Mountain Software (CMS) announces the release of CMS Professional 2010 for their Accounting, FUND and Point-of-Sale software products. This latest release introduces a new product – Cougar Dtails, A Financial Dashboard.

Cougar Dtails, A Financial Dashboard – Cougar Mountain Software’s newest product is a dashboard that users will find useful because it connects to their business’ general ledger data and presents it from a visual perspective to help them see the trends and financial health of their company.

"This at-a-glance financial dashboard will enable business owners, CFOs and CPAs to keep on top of their cash, know where their business stands in this unstable economy, and help them track down problems or questionable transactions.”

The release of CMS Professional 2010 also includes features with enhanced filtering, and external reporting abilities that expand a user’s power to retrieve valuable information, features such as:

• Export Reports to a CSV File – Users will now be able to export reports to a .CSV file and view it in Microsoft® Excel, or any spreadsheet that can open a .CSV file. Users can then arrange this data into different formats, such as graphs, for further analysis.
• Use the Contains Filter Option in Lookups – Users can now filter look up information using the contains option. This can be quite helpful to those that might have forgotten how to spell a customer name or how an item was originally entered.

The objective for the release of CMS Professional 2010 and the introduction of CMS’s new product, Cougar Dtails, A Financial Dashboard, is to provide business owners, CFOs and CPAs additional tools to review their financial data from several perspectives so that they can make intelligent decisions that affect their business success.
