With the release of Denali 2.7, Cougar Mountain Software now completes the Denali core accounting solution by introducing the latest module – PURCHASE ORDER! The Purchase Order module closes the loop between Sales, Inventory and Account Receivables and Payables making this a powerful and solid inventory management system. Additionally this release offers time-tested upgrades to the entire Denali product lineup.
The Denali product lineup is Cougar Mountain’s answer to a bigger, better, faster next generation software for mid-size companies and small companies looking to expand.
It is a fast, scalable, secure and integrated system built using Microsoft® SQL technology which provides the increased speed and stability. It works well in a more robust multiple-user network environment with the ability to handle thousands of daily transactions and track millions of stock items.
Denali Purchase Order can be used as a stand alone solution; however the magic is in the integration of the module to sales, inventory, GL, AR and AP. It is user-friendly and an extremely powerful purchasing tool that has the ability to track your assets from the moment they are ordered. For any business that tracks inventory users need tools that provide insight and help point out where costs and assets are in order to make good decisions to manage changing costs and keep growing.

Generate POs from Inventory or Sales History—Create purchase orders automatically based on selected quantity on hand, minimum/maximum quantity, order quantity, or recurring orders—helping to ensure you always have products on hand. For those more complex ordering needs flexibility is built into the system so you can access reports and information as you go through the generation process and easily customize the order quantities.

Include Photos— Allows you to attach photo(s) to any specific product number to help you visually confirm you’re ordering and receiving the correct items.
Landing Costs – If landing is a concern; our purchase order gives you the control, flexibility, and detailed tracking to help you keep on top of costs whether it is a freight charge, tax or discount.
Pre-Issue POs – Tightly control your purchase orders or match them up with pre-printed purchase orders or purchase order numbers provided by your vendors, or assign a set number of POs to various/select buyers.
Process Partial POs— This powerful function makes it possible to record partial orders as soon as you receive them so you can start selling or before you’ve recorded the costs in Accounts Payable.
Security Settings —Our role-based security allows access and set up to differ for buyers based on their job duties.
