In DENALI , the sales entry windows are customizable and offer several options for entering information into the fields. For instance, you can tab between fields and manually type information or use the Lookup feature to select information in certain fields. You can also select the type of transaction using the menu bar, the quick access bar on the left-hand side of the window, or by selecting the type from the Transaction Type drop-down list. Also, if you do not need to view or enter information in certain areas of the screen, for instance customer information, you can minimize this section of the window.

You can use the Sales Set Up Sales Entry Layout window to create the layout that is best for you. Depending on your business, you might want to omit some fields or add additional fields to meet your transaction entry needs .

Entering layaway transactions in Sales is a simple process due to the options available and the design of the layaway feature in DENALI . You can set up layaway preferences that determine the minimum and maximum layaway amounts allowed, the default payment schedule, the maximum term of any layaway, and also whether or not to print a payment schedule. Once the preferences are set, the salesperson enters the layaway transaction in the same fashion as a standard sale.
