Order Entry ScreenshotsIn DENALI, the sales entry windows are customizable and offer several options for entering information into the fields. For instance, you can tab between fields and manually type information or use the Lookup feature to select information in certain fields. You can also select the type of transaction using the menu bar, the quick access bar on the left-hand side of the window, or by selecting the type from the Transaction Type drop-down list. Also, if you do not need to view or enter information in certain areas of the screen, for instance customer information, you can minimize this section of the window.
This image reflects the Sales Order Entry window with several of the options included for data entry. You can use the Sales Set Up Sales Entry Layout window to create the layout that is best for you. Depending on your business, you might want to omit some fields or add additional fields to meet your transaction entry needs.
When you apply multiple tender amounts to a single sales transaction, each tender amount is reflected on the invoice/receipt. This allows you and your customer to quickly see what amount was paid by which tender type.

On the quick access bar located at the left of the screen, some basic transaction options are available to help speed up the entry process. One of the beneficial options available on the quick access bar is the ability to view pictures of stock items, which can help the salesperson verify that the correct item is purchased. The pictures are attached to the stock item in the Inventory module.
It is common for some customers to purchase items and pay for them, but have the items shipped to a different location. In DENALI, this can be done quickly during the actual transaction process, or you can set up multiple shipping addresses for a specific customer prior to any sales transaction.
