Whether you are completing a roofing job or assembling toy trains, you can use Job Cost to track the job's cost, customer billing, inventory, and more. Job Cost allows you to track overhead, indirect, material, and labor costs. A variety of built-in reports help you monitor job details, such as job schedules, listings, tickets, and cost analysis.
What Job Cost Can Do For You Track overhead, indirect costs, materials and labor to identify true costs and determine profit. Save time by turning completed jobs into a template, used over and over. Transfer costs from one job to another without manually reversing and re-entering the costs. You can add phases of your construction project, costs codes and jobs on the fly from several locations within the software and instantly see the changes reflected within Inventory, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and on your General Ledger. Add non-inventory items to the billing of a make-to-order job. Track salespersons sales by job. Manage Billing and Inventory - create invoices and process credit card payments. Track cost of a job and compare actual to budget Apply costs to the job or job phase. Job Cost ReportsJob Master ReportShows the status of jobs including all posted costs and billings. Shows the estimated (budget) figures as well as the actual cost figures. Job Listing Report Lists all job requirements with descriptions (detailed or simplified). You may select the job or jobs to print on the report with the requirement sorted by the cost type or requirement number. Job Cost Report Actual versus estimated costs with variances. Job Tickets Lists the job requirements and due date for completion of a job phase. Can be given to the supervisor of a job phase. Cost Analysis Report Shows the job estimate (budget) compared to actual costs posted. This is a detailed report of the entire job.
